Hello all, I write from out beautiful Holiday Inn in Rochester after a wonder meal at UNO, making a great end my first day at competition. I am a rookie in Code Red Robotics, and this is my first competition besides Ruckus (a mock-competition using the previous year's robot to show new members what FIRST robotics is all about). I enjoyed the first day, which consisted of teams testing their robots on randomly assigned teams on the actual field while other teams watch and take notes starting to decide who they would like to be on a team with if the opportunity should arise.

A few members of Code Red Robotics took on a challenge to do 639 pushups in one day. I write this just after the first of them completed the challenge, and the others are well on their way. Amazing team spirit!

Hello all, I am the head of the media/web team for Code Red. Now that the build season has started and we have broken off into our groups and started work, I have started to get this website built and filled with content with the help of my team and the wonderful mentors. We have a new banner, and a battery of plugins ready to go. We have shot over 20GB of video so far, interviewing people, presentations, and some work. I am working on building a video template so that we can get this footage on the website for you all to see. I have been posting progress updates on the main blog.

Our team has been hard at work with possible prototypes based on designs submitted by members of Team 639.
Also, a makeshift field is also in development for game/field testing.
